Daffodil The Lorry
DAffodil is a 1990 DAF T244 ex-British Army lorry which has now retired to Wick House.
Originally a flat bed lorry, she was converted to a luxurious and unusual getaway in the summer of 2023. The process of Daffodil’s creation was captured on film by George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces.
Daffodil has a full kitchen including oven, hob, fridge, kettle and toaster. All cutlery, crockery and utensils are provided. She also features a spacious lounge and seating area with flat screen TV, which converts into a double bed when you’re ready to settle down for the night. In the bathroom there is also a walk-in shower, sink and WC. Please be aware that the toilet cassette requires emptying during and at the end of your stay by way of ELSAN point which is conveniently situated next to Daffodil.
Outside is a raised decking area with ample seating and small private lawned area.
